Hydrogen Fuel produces electricity from the stroke of oxygen from air and water. A straight combustion engine making use of oxygen & fossil fuel is burned or else oxidized that produces heat & mechanical motion. Fuel cell as well uses oxidization to make the electricity. When it is powered by hydrogen only by-product is heat & water. Fuel cell is made of thin flat cells covered together producing electricity. Electricity is made when hydrogen & oxygen from air are supply into proton substitute membrane hydrogen fuel cell heap. Sufficient electricity is produce to power the electric vehicles.

Production of Hydrogen Fuel

Currently in United States there you will find no hydrogen fuel vehicles that are produced for public, only some demonstration vehicles are found there on road. Traveler buses as well as long-haul trucks are mainly used to test and show fuel cells. Japan has recently made a hybrid fuel cell train that makes use of diesel engines for the two thirds of power, and two electric engines powered by fuel cells provide other third. The business is just starting to check and expand these vehicles; as a result there is no dependability data obtainable. It is as well too early to identify what the price of first production cars will be in near future.

Because of the current technological and price barriers and the need for communications to hold up the vehicles, it might take 10 or 20 years before the hydrogen vehicles are in manufacture. There are some hydrogen fuel stations that are built mainly for purpose of display. Much requires being tested and developed prior to fuel cells, which are used for everyday use. Some challenges that industry is facing comprise of dropping cost, increasing durability in severe conditions, and raising the dependability to produce reliable energy.

How It Is Produced

Hydrogen is the renewable resource of energy that is produced from unlimited resources, which is making fuel cell extremely very important to United States transportation system. Hydrogen can is extracted from the natural gas or else other fossil fuels, or else from the methane gas, which is produced from the landfills or from the animal waste. Hydrogen is as well can be produced by using the domestic resources that include, biomass, natural gas, coal nuclear as well as the solar, hydro-electric, plus wind.

Benefits of using hydrogen

There are many advantages of making use of hydrogen to power the fuel cell vehicles that comprise of zero emissions that will give for cleaner air as well as reduce the greenhouse gas emissions. Making use of pure hydrogen makes only water vapor. The fuel cells are projected to be twice as competent as the domestic gasoline ignition engines. The energy independence from significance oil can be achieved by nation by the utilization of fuel cell know-how. When the fuel cell technology is fully developed where it is very cost effectual and competent to use, it will transform the way that the nation is powered.

 Normal 0

The words “water powered engine”, seems confusing to the people. They believe it to be a car engine with regular water coursing through its pipes and tubes. What people don’t realize is that the water-powered engine is actually a hydrogen engine. The water is used in the water-powered engine for the sole purpose of harvesting hydrogen. The hydrogen gas generated is then combusted. The combustion from the hydrogen is then used to power the car.

Many individuals and companies are still working on the making of water-powered engine following the laws of thermodynamics. Many of them have claimed to invent the water-powered engine. Unfortunately, till date all the claims of the invention of the water-powered engine have resulted in fraud and the attempt by various swindlers whose only intention has been to make a lot of money from the pocket of innocent investors. The debate surrounding the hydrogen engine (or the water powered engine) is still raging. Passionate people stand on both sides of the fence regarding the issue. People who are against the hydrogen car and the water-powered engine are mostly afraid of the possibility of an explosion. Hydrogen is an extremely explosive and inflammable gas and has the potential to explode and so does gasoline. The memory of the Hindenburg explosion during World War Two is still fresh enough to make people shudder and it is this memory that creates the most opposition against the advent of the water-powered engine.

The people are also suspicious about the storing of hydrogen, as it is a huge problem. The hydrogen must be very tightly compressed, in order to store enough to use on a drive. This isn’t a suitable idea when the element is hydrogen. Of course there are also arguments for the water powered engine and the hydrogen car. Proponents of these developments are quick to point out that gasoline is just as likely to explode as hydrogen is and a gasoline explosion is far more destructive than a hydrogen explosion. When a gasoline-powered car explodes the entire car will explode as a result of it. This leaves the passengers of the car with less chances of survival. Hydrogen, however, is a gas and will float to the top of the car, taking the explosion with it. This leaves the passengers safely underneath the danger.

The hydrogen or water powered engine is better for the environment. They will not cause any carbon emissions and will not be a drain on the earth’s reserve of fossil fuels. Hydrogen is something that the world will probably never run out of because it can always be harvested from water.
