Want your car or truck to run better, longer while using a cheap source of fuel? If so, then building your own water into hydrogen system is definitely for you.

Hydrogen Fuel is moderately easy to create when you have good clear instructions. Water into fuel or Hydrogen is quickly being looked at as the cheap fuel of the future. The concept of building your own water into hydrogen converter as a source of alternative fuel for your car or truck has becoming quite popular.

The fact that energy can be pulled out of plain water is unbelievable until you see the process work with your very own eyes. Many car and truck owners report a 35-50% gas mileage increase using this free fuel source.

There are many real-life videos the show the proof that Hydrogen can be taken from water and used as a powerful, but cheap fuel source and it can be done safely. The videos have really caught people’s attention, mainly because of rising fossil fuel costs and the fear of no end in site to the ever increasing gasoline prices.

The bottom line is that a record number of consumers want to save money on their gasoline costs. The record number of searches posted on Google for the Water 4 Gasoline” manuals shows that many people want to learn more about the hydrogen alternative the “Water For Fuel” system offers.

This increase in the technology is also likely due to the fact that the system is so easy to build. Of course we must also include how much more fuel efficient your car or truck becomes with the “Water 4 Fuel” system installed has to play a major part as well.

Basically, the water for fuel technology is a small system of rubber hoses plugged into a device that converts water directly into hydrogen gas that is then sucked into the fuel system by the tubes or hoses. These fuel cells produce supplemental, clean, cheap fuel and without pollution.

You don’t need much to turn your car into a water using hybrid – Just know how. The process involves submerging the electrodes, which is a fancy name for a particular type of coiled wire, into a glass, or heat resistant container of water, attaching that to a battery clip and charging the electrodes with the battery.

This causes the water around the electrodes to split into hydrogen and oxygen (electrolysis). At this point you’ve created a very cheap source of fuel that you can be used to supplement your gasoline costs.

OK, to have the system installed on your car or truck is slightly more involved, but not complicated at all. For the price of a good how to manual you can build your own water converter in under an hour. The plans and the few parts can cost you as little as $60-$100. The parts you need are commonly found in an auto parts store, hardware store. A very fined tuned system may need a part or two from your local Radio Shack.

Of course, those of us who are not mechanically inclined can lean on a good mechanic to install the parts for us on our car or truck and still get cheap fuel all the same. If you really want a hands off experience you can simply buy the system already assembled and simply plug in the hoses as described by the manual you use.

Although creating hydrogen fuel to turn your car or truck into a water drinking hybrid can be done safely because of the fact the Hydrogen is only extracted from the water in the exact amounts as your car’s engine needs.

This is much better than driving around with tanks filled with combustible Hydrogen, which could be dangerous. Though safe to build and use, it is still imperative that you get the best information available to build your own converter the right way. There are plenty of How-To Manuals available to get the job done right.

The Hydrogen Engine Center or HEC recently announced and demonstrated the use of ammonia as fuel. Before an annual meeting of the center’s shareholders, the ammonia and hydrogen powered engine was unveiled by the HEC. The engine has been in development for the past three years and now that it was complete, the company sees it fit that it demonstrates the capability of the engine.

The test was conducted with HEC’s Oxx Power™ 4.9-liter six-cylinder engine. The engine used the Oxx Boxx™ engine controller and a dual-fuel injection system. The test was done with the engine running on a mixture of hydrogen and ammonia. The fuel used is composed of 95 percent ammonia and 5 percent hydrogen. The hydrogen in the fuel combination is used as a combustion catalyst.

The use of ammonia with hydrogen gives more power to the engine. As far as emission is concerned, the result of burning ammonia and hydrogen in an internal combustion engine is water vapor and trace amounts of nitrogen oxide. The amount of water vapor released by the engine is considerably more than the amount of water vapor produced by engines designed to run on hydrogen. The fact that ammonia does not contain carbon points out that ammonia is a clean alternative fuel.

“We have been awaiting the day when we could add ammonia to the world’s list of potential fuels and today is the day,” says HEC President Ted Hollinger during the demonstration of the engine. “The performance of the engine is very impressive. This demonstration clearly shows that anhydrous ammonia can be used as a fuel,” he added further.

Ammonia is considered as a promising alternative fuel because of its abundance and clean burning attribute. Initially, the use of ammonia as fuel is confined to rockets. Currently though, as the price of gasoline increases and alternative fuels are being developed, the promise of ammonia as a good substitute to gasoline became apparent and was developed by companies such as HEC. The only problem faced with using ammonia as fuel is that in the production of this fuel, carbon dioxide is produced. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas which is responsible for the global warming phenomenon.

When being used as fuel, it is more reliable if mixed with hydrogen. HEC pointed out that hydrogen can be produced by an engine which will then be used in conjunction with ammonia which in turn will be stored in a tank.

“We will continue our endurance testing, and then we will install an ammonia/hydrogen-fueled engine in the Oxx Power™ hydrogen-fueled genset that is currently powering our dyno room,” says Don Vanderbroook, the HEC’s Chief Operating Officer. “By doing this we can reduce our hydrogen storage requirements and gather valuable data on the operation of this engine. Solving the hydrogen storage problem by use of ammonia opens up the market for zero emission engines and systems by providing fuel cost competitive and logistically viable alternate energy systems. Ammonia is a fuel that is available today through cost-effective delivery and storage systems that have been proven over time,” he added.

Whether ammonia can be applied as a practical alternative fuel is still undergoing scrutiny. But by the fact that it produces almost zero potentially harmful gases, it looks as if ammonia will be a great substitute to gasoline and a great complement to vehicles equipped with EBC rotors.

It's the most abundant molecule in the universe, with ~3x more BTU value the natural gas, and it produces zero emissions. I recently discovered it can be made on-demand from tap water through electrolyzing.
